Warren learning the ropes… to be more specific, a furled leader masterclass.

After many an hour furling, sewing some grass seed and generally larking about, it was time on such a beautiful afternoon as this to get a dipping and fishing.

With a surprising number of yearling mayfly on the wing betwixt clouds of sedge, we fish through into the early evening and see more than we catch… which in turn was only but a few.

Tomorrow it’s off to the Olympics and Eton Dorney to cheer on Team GB and watch the finals of the Kayak and Canoe events… tight lines and enjoy this sunny interruption over this weekend.
