A morning with C.Jardine

A pleasure to watch the ‘Old Pro’ at work (I mean that in the nicest possible way CJ)… delighting those who gathered on this blustery Sunday morn’ at Manningford trout fishery.

Charles Jardine ~ a man needing little introduction

Charles Jardine

I have seen CJ demonstrate many times at game fairs and alike but this was probably the most intimate of venues I’d attended to capture the man. He’s one of the very few I’m fortunate to have seen that can engage an audience in such a way as to keep them entertained but learning at the same time, and in a language/terminology all can appreciate.

One man and his leg dog ~ midge has seen it all before

He doesn’t just explore the mechanics and pleasures that can be had from fly casting and fishing, his demonstrations continually evolve with up to date techniques and methods used by anglers worldwide.

We even go global, CJ: “imagine if you will a Montana stream”…

Charles Jardine

…then he starts pushing some low inverted loops into imaginary Montana lies

Cheers fella, good to have a cast with you and enjoy the demo’s indoors & out with a lucky few.
